On September 20-23, TÜV and Zhejiang Testing&Inspection Institute for Mechanical and Electrical Products Quality co-held the “Low-Voltage Apparatus Industry Exchange Meeting in 2017”, and more than 90 delegates from benchmarking enterprises of the industry like ABB, Schneider, Mitsubishi, Delixi and CHINT gathered in Shengsi Islands, to discuss the hot topic of low-voltage apparatus. This is the third low-voltage apparatus industry exchange meeting co-held by TÜV and Zhejiang Testing&Inspection Institute for Mechanical and Electrical Products Quality.

In recent years, the domestic low-voltage apparatus industry is transforming towards the middle and high-end market with higher market and profit space, and the application of products is also developing from the conventional electric power to smart power grids and new energy industry gradually. While developing towards medium-high voltage conversion and intellectualization, the domestic low-voltage apparatus is also widely applied to the charging equipment of electric automobiles, wind power industry, solar photovoltaic power generation and other new energy fields.

On the exchange meeting, more than 90 practitioners of the low-voltage apparatus industry centered on the latest technical tendency and industrial development strategy, and carried out the in-depth discussion concerning medium-high voltage conversion, intellectualization, application of new energy field and other themes. Experts from the 5^th Product Division of China Quality Certification Center were specially invited in this activity, to explain some problems in product certification, and help enterprises to understand the product certification work about the low-voltage apparatus.

Furthermore, guests from TÜV and Zhejiang Testing&Inspection Institute for Mechanical and Electrical Products Quality conducted in-depth sharing and discussion regarding topics like the international certification and standard requirement of low-voltage apparatus, requirements on key parts-electric leakage products of new-energy vehicles and how to focus on the customer demand and promote the inspection service. The participants also shared their opinions and insights based on their experience for questions like how to improve the product quality, what the third-party quality assessment and authentication organization can do for the industry, thus advancing the orderly and healthy development of the low-voltage apparatus industry.

The low-voltage apparatus industry exchange meeting has been a significant platform for professionals in the industry to exchange the latest technical trend and industrial development strategy, and the well-organized arrangement was also highly praised by all participants.
